It's Okay, It Will be Alright..

As many of you do not know, I have started work at a new place!! I work in a hotel, neatly tucked somewhere in the wilderness of Bukit Bintang. Let's just pray nobody find my blog and sue me for revealing the story!!!

I start work at 10a.m and finish at 6p.m. So, today I was going thru the rooms and doing some accounts when Betty McCarthy (BM)*not her real name*walks in thru the door. See BM has been staying at the hotel for 8 nights now. She travels a lot, and often stays here whenever she's in Malaysia. She has been going in and out everyday and always gives us to keep her room key.

Today, she came to see me, and asked me where the bank is because she has to go withdraw money,and the ATM is not working. I told her to go to Pavillion,gave her directions and off she went. About an hour later she walks in and sits infront of me and starts crying! So here's how the conversation went. *Bear in mind she's crying throughout the conversation*Also, the whole conversation happening in a FRENCH accent*

Bm:*Crying* Im sorry, im feeling very nervous!!
Me: Why?What happened? Is everything okay?
Bm; The accident in Laos and now I can't withdraw my money to pay you.
Me: Errr..okay..

*Turn and give boss a death stare,Boss walks over*

Boss: What card are you using?
BM: Mastercard. Yesterday I could withdraw money from the ATM. But today I cannot withdraw any money.I went to the cashier in 3 banks and they say *looks in bag for bank slip* insufficient funds.
Boss: *Google's Mastercard Malaysia, finds nothing*
Bm: I have Insurance. I will call Belgium and ask them to pay.
Me: Do you want some tea?
Bm: Yes, maybe later.
Boss: Do you have the number?
Bm; Oui,*reads number in french*

*Boss calls and calls cause operators are idiots.*Are you bearing in mind she's crying through the whole ordeal, coz you better imagine tears, and words between sobs*

Bm: *Has conversation with her people in french*
BM: They said they will pay. But do you except International transaction??
Boss:We do..
Bm; Now I will have some tea please.
Me: Okay.*go gets tea*
Boss: Okay.

*Gets her ice tea and a cold towel*She still crying*

BM: I am so sorry, I am so anxious!
Me: Don't worry, it will be okay.We'll figure out a way.
Bm: In Laos there was an accident,I hurt my back and my friend has to be rushed to the hospital. *relates how the accident happened*
Me: Are you okay?Do you travel alone all the time?
Bm: Yes, I like to travel and sometimes my friends join me. I have never has any problems before, with my credit card. This is the first time. I know i have money.
Me: Don't worry, it's gona be okay.It will be alright.
Bm: Owh,you are so nice?
Me:*smileeeeeee*
Bm; Do you have children??
Me: Uh?No, I dont have children.
Bm: Are you married?
Me: Nononono, Im not married!
Bm: Do you have a ''FRIEND" *raises eyebrow*??
Me: Nope.*laughs like a shy kambing*
Bm: But why??You are so pretty??
Me: I don't know.
Bm: You should find one!!
Me: Haha..hopefully I do someday.

*Starts packing things* In all that's going on, she's worried about whether I am married with kids or not.

Bm: I am going to go for a walk, I will come back for the bank to call.
Me: Okay, stay safe!

*Comes back later, bank calls and issues are all resolved, with me doing translation from French to English for my bosses*

Bm: You are right, it will be okay.Thank you,thank you so much!! I will come back and stay in march for you.
Me: Ahh, please do come back!!
Bm: I hope I will see you before I go back tomorrow!
Me: You will, I will be here in the morning. If I don't see you before I go back, I'll see you tomorrow!!

*She came down at 6, to see me before I left*

Bm: It is true, what you said. It will be alright.
Me: *Smile*

I only told her what I've been telling myself, since the whole ordeal began with the addition of last night's mess. And you know what, Its okay to cry, proves that you've been strong for so long.

GassspppGhost Story!

This is a story of that has been an uproar recently. A man who happens to work in Seremban. One day (the day Thursday evening Friday) he had to return to Kuala Pilah to host a feast for a deceased family member. The feast ended approximately at 11:00 pm, he had to leave to come back to Kuala Lumpur alone, although a bit late,for the next day he was working.
Arriving at Bukit Putus, the road was windy and had a lot of turns, he saw a woman dressed in white was stopping his car. His heart was moved to help. So he stopped his car and asked "What is a young lady like you doing out so late at night ?", " Please help me. My car has stalled! ... I have tried to stop other cars for help. But they do not want to stop. Can I get a lift to Seremban? I can pay you how ever much you want? ". Somehow it moved his heart to help a beautiful woman dressed in white.
"Oklah. I also want to go to Seremban", slipped out of his mouth ... but he still had doubts ... He opened the door and invited her into the car.The girl did not want to sit in my seat back, continued to sit in front next tio him. He would have said something, but the girl is too quick to close the door and lock the door.The men's heart was beating so fast . He tried to calm himself down. ... as if nothing will/would happened. He remained silent because he regrets why he so easily allow a woman in his car in the middle of the night .
But the strange thing is, he felt kind of compelled stop and to help this girl. He is the kind who is timid with women! They each remained silent for sometime.Suddenly ... he began to feel horror & bristle hairs when the girl is suddenly emitting a fragrant smell. He began to recite holy verses that came to his head.Sweat began to wet his forehead. He was not happy to sit silently more. Girl is seen as quite bright when oncoming vehicles light falls on her. He was brave enough to take a glance at her. The girl was also looking at him with a smile. Showing her white teeth, paired with the clothes that she wore ...
He was brave and asked, "Why are you wearing white at a time in the night like this??"This is my formal dress every Friday night ...""I have a class ''yasin" replied the girl is"But .. this is a different kind of white... I have never seen this before "the man asked again."What do you mean different kind of white?? ... its the same. Uh, have you really never seen it before? " He replied '' yeah, this is kind of different ,awkward and scary.. ""Ehh, it cant be scary.."

A day at the Waterfall,Sg,Gabai

Greeting my fellow earthlings!!:) I hope you're AWESOME!!!

Well this entry is a little delayed, but its out anyway. Me and my family headed down to the waterfalls near my home. Since it was Chienese New Year, and everybody was on holiday, we decided to drive down to Sungai Gabai in Hulu Langat. It was a 30 minutes drive from where I live.

The entrance fee is only RM1.00. The water is ice cold and clear!!! Even as you enter, you can see the water fall, but my suggestion will be to climb up. We climbed the stairs to the top.*well have way atleast,we had mummy senior with us.*

So, after like climbing up Mount Everest, we couldn't climb anymore *excuse the pun* we decided to settle down at one of the ''pondok like thingy''. And this was our view!!!

Not long after we arrived, the boys came over.

There was a rock that became the slide!!! Because its slippery and hollow at the bottom, everyone was flying down by it.

The water isn't as shallow as it is in Sungai Congkak. With that said, please do not attempt to do any diving unless you would like to land yourself in the hospital with PHD (Permanent Head Damage).

For all those who question why we(me+brother) would prioritize friends over family, here's why.This is a part of one of the many conversations.

''frends were all we had when we were growing up

we din hv parents who ensured we would be somebody some day

But I must say, 7-8/2/2012 has been the best and the worst night of my life by far. The few who knew what happened stayed with me thru the night and listened to me cry. And even the one's who never knew what happened sent me songs and inspirational text messages and videos on youtube. AMAZING. I am blown away.It is almost impossible for me to feel down when there's so many out there who have my back.

The best yet was Nina.

Me: Nina,..I love you.
Nina: What happened??
Me: Nting..its okay..its gona be alright.
Nina: Shut up and tell me will you?
Me: Nah..sokay..it'll be okay..
Nina: Sure, im nobody right..
Me: laaaa, il be okay..just thought you shud noe i love you.
Nina: well then jus so u noe ure the closest frend i have now n dat i always got ur back..keeping things to yourself doesnt help,n i noe dat.but sokay..u tc ok.

Absolutely blown away by the number of people who check in on me..even those i have not kept in touch with for some time..amazing number of texts and chats and tweets and oovoo ..ur awesome..and I love you.

This night/morning has also thought me that even during your darkest hours, there will be selfish people who will prioritize themselves and their intentions/motives/to-do-list over you.But its okay, i've learnt who my real friends are and who isn't.

PS: Sending a huge ass amount of love to the little-est family member - LILIAN - who has literally been here with me and gah! thank you women..no words to express the amount of gratitude..mwah!mwah!

The Wicked One Night!!

Our Wicked One Night, began as a random plan as a spur of the moment. We planned,got ready and left. We were soon on our way to INTI, Nilai to pick up my brother, and soon after we were on our way to Port Dickson!!! woootss!..haha..

It was an hour and a half's drive from Cheras, to Nilai, then to PD at a reasonable speed cause we had a female driver driving in the night! So, we reached the beach after making a pit stop at the Balai Polis Negeri Sembilan to get some directions,because apparently, we were on the ''kampung'' roads with no signboards and street lights!

We reached Port Dickson,and went straight charging into the water to dip out feets. We would have loved to have swam, but the locals advised us not to go in as the maybe strong currents and other ''spooky adventures'' happening, if you know what I mean.

After trolling *no we did not stroll* the beach for a while and cam-whoring, we were all hungry!!Typical. We drove down further in, and found a malay stall selling food and they had shisha!! We all ate nasi goreng and had our drinks with fair share of laughter and more cam-whoring.

Later after dinner at about 2.30a.m or so, we decided to drive in to the end of PD and back out. Now, if you have never been inside PD at night, I must say, it was quiet a drive. We drove in to our favourite hotel of all times - Tiara Beach Resort - which is awesome for billions of reasons I will never finish listing. We parked outside the hotel, and took out our tiny little radio, plugged the pen drive in and started dancing by the road side. YES, WE ARE THAT CRAZY!!! More pictures!! Evidence of cam-whoring!

Once the radio and the laptop ran out of battery, we decided to go on back down to the beach and stroll this time around. The wind was nice,the view of the ships were nice, I would say, the beach is an entirely different place at night. Tho the waters may look calm and far out in the middle of the ocean, never be quick to judge and always be careful!

We then laid out a blanket on the soft sand not wanting our butts to be sandy, kicked of our shoes and we just chilled.

Feeding the Homeless and Visit to the Asrama Cahaya

Olla everyone!!!

Last wednesday, 25th January 2012, My awesome team and I were ask by our team leader Marian Chua to help out with some charity work. It was a lunch for the homeless which was sponsored by her and her family, followed by a give-away donation for the Asrama Cahaya.

We left our houses bright and early at about 9.30am, headed down to St.Johns Cathedral to cook for the homeless people!!!We got down to cutting the veggies, and frying chicken and serving them meehoon with some awesome fried chicken, and since it's Chinese New Year , we gave them mandarin oranges!!

In my previous entry you can read about feeding the homeless, but this time I would like to share with you the story of Asrama Cahaya. Asrama Cahaya is situated in Convent Bukit Nanas school. The home is more then a 150 years old. This home took in female orphans who were left during the war and random people leaving their child at their gate. The home was run and still is being run by nun's. They would take the children in, care for them, and they were old enough to work or if they have found their families, they will let free to go.

But what happens to the one's with disabilities?What happens to the one's with no families?

A very good question indeed. Asrama Cahaya had officially stopped taking in children in the late 60's. This is due to the fact, back in the days, there weren't many homes for orphans around and the very few that existed were run my missionaries. People took it as an outlet to dump their child with disabilities there, either because they did not have the funds to support a child with disabilities or they weren't responsible enough.

Okay, so they don't take in anymore people, what happened to the existing one's??

Haaaaaa!!! The photos that you will see from here on is them! They grew old in the hand and care of the nun's. Currently there are 35 of the residing there. The home is huge! I must say. There are 4 nun's and 6 helpers to care for the ladies. They are very friendly and they love taking photos.

We gave out bags filled with chocolate milk,crackers,oranges,jelly and cream crackers to each one of them.

Me & My Boyfriend

Okay! Hold that thought!! Don't judge!

So, since every darn time I go out with anyone, I get random people buying me drinks or coming up to me and talking about the most random-est topic or giving me their number or getting the waiter to give me with their business card. And I've also been getting so many questions on Facebook and other Social Media sites on weather or not I am single and available, and well I feel like I should put it down in black and white, so things are nice and clear.

Our love story began while I was at a grocery store and you know how sometimes you see stuff and do a double take. And so, I was walking down one of the aisle and there he was,just standing there..staring back at me.. we kinda like made eye contact and it was rely cute.

He was there doing his thing, and I was walking down the aisle,Well, if you know me, you would know I completely ignore bystanders who watch me shop for god only knows what reason. And so I said ''HELLO'' cause,I don't want to be rude and he smiled right back at me! I melted. So, then there was this awkward silence between us *inserts cricket sound*. Just while we were standing there, and I was like checking him out, I could like just tell that we belong together and we will be there for each other how ever hard life is gona get. We literally like just clicked.I knew it. He knew it.We knew it.

Then I went on, and brought him home after shopping.*Don't judge* And we've been together ever since. But like every other couple, we do have our ups and downs together. Sometimes when I'm not in the mood for anything I would be like, '' Just get away from me or not tonight please'' but there are other times when I'm like,'' Owh please just come to me and put me to sleep''. We're normal.

So thats the story of Me & My Boyfriend, and we're been happily together ever since. And yea, I love him and he's the best. Can't complain.

So,everyone, it is a great honour for me to introduce to you to...

And he even say's ''MILK IT''..Owh honey!!We'll save that for the bedroom!!

My New Year, 2012 Resolutions

As a fellow blogger ( NANA) always says, and I quote ''fashionably and glamorously late''. Many, and I should stress on the many,of you have asked me over and over and over and over..''So,Anita,what is your New Year's resolution??'' to which if you remember correctly, I would have responded with '' Nah, I don't want to set myself expectations that's only going to disappoint me''. But then, I realized, why don't I challenge myself to some ''moderately impossible to achieve goals'' and see how far I get.

So, I promised some of you readers through my e-mails, to which is how I respond to the ''overwhelming'' amount of comments. Anyhow, below would be the list of 2012 resolutions that I've thought of hard and looooonggg, its the reason I'm late.

On another note, has anyone else have been experiencing trouble uploading images to Blogger??? Seriously, my entries are being held back for days because I can't seem to get my images up. Nonetheless, I shall not come up with excuses and give you what I've promised myself not to.

1. Quit Smoking

Well, I'm not a chain smoker or an addict. I am a social smoker. I smoke when I have company and when I'm under a lot of pressure. But,well, since any kind of smoking is not good, I have made a bold step to quit smoking. If you see me pick up or light up a ciggie infront of you, please just yell ''SQUIRREL!!!!!" *that was a line the little sneaky fella says from the movie UP*

2. Learn something NEW

I have not decided on what I'm going to be learning yet, but I wouldn't mind considering some suggestions. You can leave them in the comments below! *owh,dear kind soul reading this,please help me on my quest to soul searching*

3. Decide on what I want to do with life

I seriously, have no clue on what I want to be or do. I live currently on a day to day basis. If I have money, i eat,otherwise,I don't. *HOLD THAT THOUGHT!* Yes, I am working. But, the only Certificate I seem to have is my Birth Cert and well, SPM,if that's even worth anything. Pathetic in it? So, You're probably ''wondering why don't you study?''. Well, I would love too!! But, we all have our own reasons on certain things that holds us back.

4. More Volunteer based blog entries

So, as you can see, and if you stalk me on all cyber spaces, you would know, I do a somewhat moderate amount of volunteer work. Feeding the homeless every Fridays, teaching kids to dance, teaching refugees English, etc. I go out, I do what I have to do, then I become the sloth of the universe when I have to write a blog entry cause I'm too tired to move a toe. Write the next day, you say. When it comes to writing for events like this, it has to be an on the spot kinda thing, so one wouldn't loose the train of thought and the flow of events that took place.

5. Reduce the amount of time I spend on Social Media Networking

Many of you know, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1. And that device my friends, is just, bad. Bad in a sense, it just tends to steal me away from society,steal me away from conversations,steal me away from conmunicating verbally,freaking makes me look like a lunatic in public laughing hysterically at the tablet thanks to 9gag or Joel Wong's sarcasm on Sarcasm?Puh-leeze! . I am addicted to Facebook, and blog walking. Did not have a Twitter account up until a month back,of which I do not use much of as most of my friends like in Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve and some live in Tanjung Rambutan. Its just the constant reading and curiosity and wanting-to-knowness on weather or not I did get a notification is.just.so.ichyfying!!!Heck, my mother finds me creepy laughing in bed at 3a.m. I find that creepy.But I can't help it.

6. Need to find a MAN!

Okay, like seriously, every year, I tell myself, I'M NOT GOING TO BE ALONE FOR VALENTINES! But hey, come Valentines, I am the Queen Bee of foreveralone.jpg every darn year. I had a valentine once in 21 years. That once, I had a male cat who died a week later.Yeap, I am that pathetic. Somebody, find me a man.

Well, after reading all that, I bet even the potential ''mapilai'' would run away. Nonetheless, there is still hope!
And I am going to delete all thoughts of me becoming a spinster with 14 cats!

So, well, thats my 2012 New Year Resolution all for now my loves, I will let you know if anything else comes to mind. Toodles till later.

Feeding the Homeless

Feeding the homeless, some would think it is an act of kindness. Others, take is as a responsibility to society. So, my question is ''Are we helping them?'' or just merely ''Sympathizing'' with them.

There are many homeless people in Kuala Lumpur, including those who have jobs but do not earn enough to rent a room or house. They sleep on the streets of popular areas in the city.

You maybe surprised that these homeless people in the heart of Kuala Lumpur are not all beggars or vagabonds. In fact, many of them work during the day. But, what happens to them at night??

They do not make enough to pay for houses or rooms and find it easier to make ends meet by sleeping on the streets.

Most of us have the preconception that the homeless are, people with torn clothing,uncut hair, dirty nails and etc. Well, I've gone, seen them and I'm here to tell you otherwise. Appearance can be deceiving.

Many of whom i have seen are well dressed and speak fluent English, I would have never have thought that they are sleeping on the streets. I've been told that,they dress up well so that they could fit in with the rest of society. Facing rejection on a daily basis is a huge barrier for people like them to crawl out of their predicament.

So, what about their family?? Why won't their family help them?? Some of them are rejected by their family due to their illness, some have been homeless since they have no family members, some say that broken families was the main reason why they were living on the streets and some just prefer the freedom of being independent and not being tied down to a routine lifestyle.

The common goal shared by many of the NGOs is to take the homeless off the streets and find proper jobs for them so that they do not go back to the streets.

You can come help , feed the homeless people at the Archdiocesan Office for Human Development (AOHD) in Jalan Bukit Nenas. which is the official arm of the Catholic Church, in the Archdiocese of KL, Malaysia, entrusted with overseeing matters pertaining to the promotion of charity, integral human development, justice and peace.

The senior citizen are made to sit at a table and food will be handed out to them. As for the rest, women will be served first, then the men. They will have to form a queue, first pick up their plates of rice, then move on to the gravy station, then the side dish. Although it is a simple meal, but once they have had it, that smile they have on their faces, is a smile of content.

These were the pictures from the Christmas Party that was had for them. The food was sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe. Over 200 homeless people showed up!

The Rolling Stones performed at the Christmas Party. People from all walks of life were present. It didn't matter if they were Indians, Chinese, Muslims,Taiwanese, Myanmarese, everyone was there!!

After their meal, everyone was given a goodie bag that contained a box of sugar cane drink, a shirt, and some snacks.

So, as many of you may have read before, I am a die hard fan of volunteer work. I would go anywhere, do anything just to make another person smile.

Its been a week since we're in 2012, and yes, yes, I know I'm late. I bet many of you must have had a blast for New Year with celebrations everywhere!!! I choose to celebrate New Year with a couple of my BFF's, in SOHO!!!

We came forward just in time for the countdown! There was massive crowd, and random people spraying snow spray on everyone!!! There were a lot of tourist, and the Arabs were dancing away to the music that was being played. It was awesome!!

Greeting my fellow peeps!!! Hope ya'll are having an amazing New Year so far.

2011, has brought many blessings my way. One of which is the birth of my gorgeous niece. Isabelle Daveena Vial. When she was born in Sydney,Australia. We, the family received a text that said..

''Nicholas jus got a promotion...to big brother! We welcome with love baby Isabelle Daveena Vial born 02.08.2011 at 14.04 -3.48kgs/52cms.With grateful hearts Adelina,Roger and Nicholas''.

My cousin and her family flew in from Sydney,somewhere mid November for Christmas and Isabelle's baptism,which was held in Holy Family Church,Kajang. I did not go for her baptism, as I had to attend Carlsberg's Where's The Party.

I did go and visit them over the weekend, at their home and got a chance to see how fast and beautifully the kids have grown up!!!

Heineken Thirst featuring DJ TIESTO LIVE at Sepang, Malaysia

Guess who was in town last weekend?? DJ TIESTO!!!!He was down to perform in Sepang F1 International Circuit for the biggest party in town by Heineken - Thirst. I tagged along with Isaac,who was kind enough to invite me as a VIP guest. The expected crowd was about 15,000 people according to multiple news tabloids,but in my opinion it was definitely more then that,which indicates the event as a success.

We arrived there pretty early,parked in the VIP Parking Zone, and took a walk to check out the area. It was nice to see the hardcore party rockers all pumped up and chanting the name DJ TIESTO, the chants grew louder as the crowd grew bigger. Though,there was a slight drizzle, everyone came ready with their umbrellas.

We were then ushered in through the VIP entrance,given a black wrist band, and allowed in. There was a kiosk set up for the public to sign up with Heineken, to receive the updates on events and etc. After filling up the form, everyone was given a token!

Being a member of the VIP, we were entitled to free flow of Heineken Beer over at the VIP Terrace. We had the pleasure of being entertained by DJ Phil K Lee, DJ Gabriel and DJ BLINK and last but not least, at around 11p.m we has DJ TIESTO finally on stage.

The environment and the surrounding was HOT and HAPPENING!!!The place was just booming away with loud music and everybody was dancing like there was no tomorrow!There were people dancing till the looked like they just had their shower, the guys started taking off their t-shirts, and even the ladies were down to their bikini's dancing away!

At exactly 11p.m DJ TIESTO made his long awaited appearance, and the crowd had him for 3 solid hours! Everyone went from being partially crazy to complete loose and in their own world,partying like there was literally no tomorrow! We were too tired to carry on partying till the end,we left with satisfied smiles and icky sweaty clothes,but it was all worth it in the end. This is by far THE biggest party I have attended.

Suitable Hairstyles for your face shape.

The best face shape would be oval, as oval faced people have a wide range of hairstyles to choose from short corp to long sleek or curvy waves. *What would not work would be styles that stop right at your chin or very long super straight hair~ as it would emphasize on your chin and make your face look longer.

As for Oblong shaped, it's crucial that you broaden the middle portion of your face.
This will balance out your face length and width, Curls and waves will be your BFF's, they will be the one that will (work it) for you. *Avoid middle partings, very short corp hair and please don't pile your hair on top.

Square faced people~ what you would want to do is just to soften the edges at your jaw line (prominent and angular)
Side partings is encouraged, so as to having styles that further softens(curls and waves) and elongates(long layers) your face shape.
*Do not attempt full fringes, same length cuts, center partings and geometric cuts. (YOUR HAIR IS YOUR BEST ACCESSORY)~!

Those who are Round faced, the idea it to create attention away from the roundness, also to slim it down at the jaw.
Shoulder length and long layers that starts form the cheeks will be the diva's that will create attraction . so use them.
*Avoid full bangs, bulks on the sides... as it would make your face look smaller and wider. Aim for height. You know the drill~~!

For those with Heart heart shaped face~ Add volume and length to the bottom of your face to balance out the width at the top.
Jaw length bobs, long straight cuts and close corps best complement this shape. (YOUR FACE IS YOUR BEST ACCESSORY)~!
*No thick fringes, center partings, as it will widens the face and may emphasize the pointy chin...

Tips on Colouring and Maintaining your hair

How to Colour & Maintain your hair
5 tips on color, 5 on maintenance

Color-

1- Before a color service, make sure that your hair is clean without any product or dirt.
*if it's too greasy, shampoo it But don't scrub. As scrubbing will injure the scalp.*

2- While shampoing, you do not want to remove too much natural oil from your scalp
as the natural oil protects the scalp from any harsh chemicals like the peroxide in the color.

3- After washing and rinsing, make sure hair is dry. You can either leave it to dry naturally *at home
Or using a hairdryer to dry hair. As any moisture on hair will increase time taken to dye
and reduce the level of color.

4- Have enough sleep the day before your color service, reason why is because your sweat will
secrete more sodium then normal and when mixed with color peroxide, it will create an itchy sensation
or an irritation. *same goes to women at their menstruation stages.*

5- Last but not least, Choose a color and a tone that suits you best. Don't be afraid to ask the stylist
what suits you best. But at least have a color in mind as your guide, so that it won't go wrong.

Maintenance-

1- After a color service. The next day do not immediately shampoo your hair. At least give it a day or two to set in.

2- Wash/Rinse hair with cold or normal temperature water, as warm/hot water will open up cuticles.

3- Invest in a sulfate-free shampoo for these kind of shampoo's are gentle to the hair. Also invest in moisturising formulas to rejuvenate dry and damaged hair.

4- Try to reduce chlorine and sun exposure, Because these may make color fade faster.

5- It is better to let your hair/scalp rest for at least 3 months before the next service.

Even though It's only a hair color... But it can totally change someone look and confidence level.

So choose wisely... Make it don't break it~ ;]

The stories your lips tell

Did you know that your lips could tell you about your general health?? Who knew? I only thought one's poop could do that....Check out what I've found!!

Here are the problems to watch out for:

Swollen lips

*now..now...Angelina Jolie is born with swollen lips*

This can be a strong indicator of poor health.*owh no!!* Swollen lips are sometimes caused by Crohn's disease, which normally causes swelling in the bowel but can inflame the lymph ducts at any point in the body. Swollen lips can also indicate a food sensitivity.

Cracked lips

Cracks at the side of the mouth (angular cheilitis) are sometimes due to anaemia, which occurs when theres shortage of iron in the body.

Cracks can also be a sign of diabetes, because the high level of blood glucose which accompanies the disease encourages the growth of candida, a yeast-like infection which typically attacks the thin dermis at the corners of the mouth.

Burning lips

Haha!!

This can be a sign of depression. There is a huge amount of sensory equipment in the brain, which can become overly sensitive when there is a psychological imbalance.

Chapped lips

Persistently sore, chapped lips can indicate an allergy. This can swell the lips slightly, which causes the skin to crack and peel. The irritant could be anything from dentist's gloves to lipstick or peanuts. Pay attention to your cosmetics and consider an allergy test.

Red aura

This is another allergy symptom, increasingly caused by the high consumption of carbonated drinks. Doctors report seeing more people who have developed an allergy to the benzoic acid content of fizzy drinks and toothpaste, probably because they are consuming them in greater quantities.

Scaly, crusted lips

This is often what is known as 'Lick Eczema'. The skin on the lips contains fewer sebaceous glands than the rest of the skin and so is prone to drying out faster than other areas.

When children or adults lick their lips excessively they dry out the few oils there are, leaving the tissue and area around the mouth dry and vulnerable to infections. Try applying Vaseline to the area and give up the habit.

Cold sores

Cold sores are caused when there is a reactivation of the herpes virus. Once you have contracted the virus it never leaves your body, and recurrent cold sores are usually a sign that your immune system has been laid low.

Pale lips

Heart conditions and lung problems both affect the amount of oxygen being carried in the blood, and when this level drops significantly the lips take on a bluish tone, instead of a healthy deep pink. Pale pink lips are a common side-effect of anaemia.

So, here's some advice from Sifu..:)

1. Invest in a suitable product for your hair and scalp... Not all products suits you.

2. Do not shampoo your hair for too long as it will rinse out to much natural oil from your scalp. *Which will then lead to dry scalp*

3.Always remember to condition hair from the ends up, after every wash.*avoid the scalp*
If it does touch the scalp. Wash with water thoroughly.

4.Always have an alternate shampoo, which you will use twice to three times a week.

Example:-

1st you'll need a cleansing shampoo to clean dirt, grease, and products.

2nd you'll also need a shampoo that restores moisture for your hair after a long day outdoor with the Sun and all...

5.Invest in a good hair brush... Gently comb your hair... doing it otherwise will lead to split ends and coarse hair. *Always comb hair from ends up...

Woohoo!!..I'm back!! Please accept my sincere apologies my ever so faithful readers,WiFi was down for a couple of days and I've been equally been busy.Well, no I've not heard of Starbucks to hijack their awesome WiFi. So,as far as what I've been doing is concern,Christmas is around the corner and well, we, as usual,are late, yet again. Cleaning the house,repainting the yard,trimming the garden,showering the cat, hehe,well just a bunch of chores!

With that aside, yesterday, I attended Quicksilver Roxy Spring Summer, The Launch - 2012. Movie Review:- Puss in Boots!!

Want my opinion on Puss in Boots??? Please don't waste your time and money going to watch it!..I was very disappointed with the story line..

Puss in Boots

If what you had in mind of Puss in Boots was anything close to what you saw in Shrek, well my friend, prepare to be let down.Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots, Salma Hayek as Kitty Softpaws and Zach Galifianakis as Humpty.

Kitty Softpaws

This is by far the most disappointing story next to Immortals, here's the reasons why. The story begins with Puss,escaping form prison of some sort,then ends up in a bar where he learns about the ''magic beans''. He begins the journey of hunting for the magic beans and bumps into Kitty Softpaws,who also tries to steal the beans. The ''Magic Beans'' they refer to in the movie is from the story Jack and the Beanstalk. Puss and Kitty were trying to steal the beans from Jack and Jill,yes,this is Jack and Jill from the nursery rhyme. They obviously fail in stealing it.

Puss chases Kitty back to wherever she came from,to only find out that she works for Humpty (Alexander) Dumpty,who betrayed Puss a long time ago. Kitty manages to convince Puss that they would make a good team,and so he agrees. They go on an adventure that has been carefully planned out by Humpty Dumpty and steal the beans from Jack and Jill and plant in the right spot and the stalk grows so big and high into the clouds and they make their way to the castle.

Instead of stealing the 9 golden eggs,they brilliantly steal the goosling because it poops golden eggs!*if only my cat did the same*. They flee the castle in a drop through the drainage pipe into a free fall from only god knows how high. Land back on ground and make their way back to the their village. Puss then finds out he has been betrayed by Humpty Dumpty aka The Egg, Kitty and everybody else in the movie as they all have been working for The Egg, to get his revenge back at Puss for choosing the harmony of the village over The Egg..

In the end, The Egg kills himself for being such a bad friend, the goosling*i don't even know how to spell anymore* is returned to it's mother with no blood spill,Kitty Softpaws and Puss ride into the sunset a happy couple..The End.

A fairly disappointing movie that killed a few of my brain cells for a couple of hours. Moral of the story:- Never betray a friend & Do not steal.Overall, I'd rate the movie a 2/5,only because Puss did this.

*If you plan on watching this movie in 3D, don't bother.*

What a terrible let down! On another note..Kudos to our Harimau Muda for the unexpected win of 5-4 against the Garuda Muda's of Indonesia!!

Cadbury Share Your Happiness @Curve

So apparently, I was at the Curve with my bestie,as we've not seen each other in ages. Little did I know that Cadbury Share Your Happiness event was happening there!!.

Hitz.fm Cruisers were there as well, as they we're the official partners.. We were roped in by one of the cruiser to participate in some of the games and questions that were being asked..Winners won chocolates,Pitbull posters,free drink vouchers and loads more.

We later then went in to the Cadbury event, so first you had buy RM10 worth of chocolates and then you will be given a ticket. With that ticket you can go to 3 out of the 4 booths they had to redeem your stamps.

This was the Chocolate Fountain!!! You can choose between dipping fruits and marshmallows into the chocolate. The other was Photography with any of the Mascot. Next one was Spin the Wheel,lucky draw!..We both won a Cadbury T-Shirt..:)

Hehe..she even posed for me..:)

On of the other booths was, face painting!! All i asked was for the word ''CADBURY'' and the lady did this..hehe..thanks aunty!!

This was the stage,on which they had a live band singing some songs..and some games and entertainment.

Yuuuumm!!!! The Chocolates that I bought and some of the freebies I won form the Hitz.fm cruisers.!!

I have just finished reading the book Adultery Club,I bought a while ago. Finally had the chance to sit down and read,with no need to be conscious of time and frantically running about having to be at places.So,here's my adaptation of this fantastic book! The story is pretty much a reflection of what had happened in my childhood.

Happily married to a beautiful wife,cookbook writer Malinche, with 3 young daughters,lawyer Nicholas Lyon never expected his growing passion for Sara Kaplan, a vivacious young attorney in his law firm,or that his wife will also be confronting her own temptation in the person of an ex-lover,in a candid and witty novel of modern relationships.

The book is written in 3 point of views. I normally am very selective of books that have more then one person's point of view as the story can get repetitive and misleading. Nonetheless, Tess Stimson has proved me wrong. There's always 2 side to a story and it is nice for once to know what the other person is thinking,or why a certain something was said or done.

Sophie the eldest daughter, is nine years old, matured enough to know of whats happening to her perfect family, and doesn't take all that's happening to well.

Evie on the other hand, has a different take on life. She is more of a in the moment,seize the day kinda child. I must say though,she has a wacky sense of humor. I'll let you in on some of them.

''I found a cat today, but it was dead,'' six year old Evie announces.

I suppressed a shoulder. ''How did you know it was dead?''

'' Because I pissed in it's ear,and it didn't move'', Evie says.

''You did what?''

''You know'',she says impatiently. "I leaned over and went 'Psst!', and it didn't move.''

And in another occasion,

''Moses --and I quote -- 'led the Hebrew slaves to the Red Sea where they made unleavened bread,which is bread made without any ingredients. Then went up Mount Cyanide to get the ten commandos. He died before he ever reached Canada but the commandos made it''.

I snorted with laughter.

''No,no,wait,it gets better,'' Mal giggles. ''Ancient Egypt was old. it was inhabited by the gypsies and mummies who all wrote in hydraulics. They lived in Sara Dessert. Climate of Sara is such that all the inhabitants have to live elsewhere''.

Ha ha,well there you have it, innocent six year old Evie's innocence.

Not forgetting their baby girl Metheny,who is 2 years old,and doesn't say much.

Sara Kaplan on the other hand,is a 26 year old divorce lawyer who is new to the firm Fisher Richard and Lyon. A very alluring young lady,who could anyone aroused.

''I sought her out with the most honest intentions.I truly meant for this to be a tying up of loose ends.

But that touch is all it takes. A fire ignites between us; my ~~cock~~ is hard rock in an instant, and Sara's eyelids flutter,I smell her arousal. Gripping her face between my palms, I bruise her lips beneath mine. I taste the metallic tang of blood and don't know which one of us is cut.

She yanks my shirt out of my trousers as I propel her backwards towards the glossy mahogany conference table and shove her skirt over her thighs. She fumbles with my belt buckle. Button plink across the table as I rip open her shirt. I push aside her panties with fierce fingers.

I would like to continue,but I urge you to buy the book and have the pleasure of reading it for yourself. And trust me, there will be many more sexy encounters like this.

Malinche Lyon, is Nicholas cookbook writer wife, who is the type of wife every man dreams of having. She cooks,cleans,provides for the family and looks after the kids with the helping hand of her best friend Kit. i admire how she did not cause a World War 3 with Nicholas when she found out details she should not have. A strong women, who should be an example to many women out there who are in similar situation.

Nicholas Lyon, a husband, a dad, a provider who was providing for his family dutifully. All of which came to a halt the moment he saw Sara Kaplan. The man's desires and lust could not be contained. He craved to have her,and took every opportunity he had.

I love how the story ends, with just the simplicity of valuing LOVE and all that it encompasses.

I would say,this is a typical story of a husband,wife and the mistress, with surprising twists and amazing amount of patients, passion and pleasure.

I'll end with another Evie's EPIC moments,

''Two by two the son of a bitch is 4; two by three the son of a bitch is 6, I asked Evie where did she hear this, she said in school. I stormed in,to question what they had been teaching. When I related the encounter to her teacher, she laughed so hard she had to sit. She then later explained, that she said, two by two THE SUM OF WHICH IS four.''

Future Predictions??

To my utter surprise, I have been sitting at home for the past week with unruly hair and blothes of acne cream all over my face,listening to my mum tell me tales about the kids in her school and tution center.Well, I this is what happens when you decide to take a huge step in life to do something you love and disregard what others have to say about it.

Well, while I was very busy doing absolutely nothing, when suddenly mum was telling me about ME. She has apparently seen a number of random people who predict stuff. *The fact that my brother and I have had a rough childhood,mum is pretty concerned about how we're gona turn out.*

I wouldn't say I absolutely DO NOT believe in these kinda stuff,because they have proven to be accurate! In the year 2007,we celebrated New Year in Melia Hotel. There we're free flow of popcorn,cotton candy,clowns n balloons, pole dancing, fortune teller,lucky draw and most importantly booze on the house! Well,there were 2 fortune tellers there, 1 did it based on your date of birth...the other did it based on Tarot Card. I was only 16,so the date of birth guy said..''toooooo young!!''..=.=''..so i went to the tarot card lady and she said i was going to excel in my studies that year and a couple of other things..and true enough..I was top student on school for the next 2 years of high school.

Mummy has seen another lady recently,she predicts the future with just your name and date of birth,and it has to be done only in the Chinese temple near my house. All evidence of paper on which things were written down have to be burnt immediately.Mum needed a translator there, because the lady speaks in Hokkien or Cantonese. And now mum tells me random things everyday..which I find bizarrely odd.

For instance,

1. I CANNOT befriend anyone born in the year of the PIG and DOG * Chinese calendar*
2. I would get the job of my dreams in another 2 years which will take me abroad.
3. I would get married very young
4. I would succeed in life and there's no return once I leave my nest.
5. I would live very very long

These are just some of them, and she said some very odd stuff as well, to which I find makes absolutely no sense, but who knows,they may come true.

I have asked mummy to go see this lady,to find out how she knows what she how*fingers crossed she tells me* and perhaps even find out more on my life...Tell me what your opinion is on these predictions??Should we find out events of our lives prior to them happening? Or should we just let life surprise us?

How to put Facebook LIKE/TWEET/STUMBLE Button on Blogspot/Blogger

Once you get your like & share buttons up and running your are bound to have more traffic!!!There have been some questions on how to get the LIKE/TWEET/STUMBLE button on blogger.

Well, for the Facebook "LIKE" button,

Step 1

Go to Dashboard --> Select Layout --> Select Edit HTML

Step 2

Check the ''Expand Template Widget'' option

Step 3

Press CTRL+F to look for this code

Step 4

Copy and Paste this code AFTER the above code.

**BONUS STEP**

Step 5

If you want the ''Recommend'' button, change the word ''like'' (highlighted in RED) to ''recommend''

Step 6

Save you template and you're done!

As for the TWEET button,

Go to Twitter's Tweet Button to add the button to your blog

Step 2

You can choose your button and customize it (optional).

Step 3

Preview your button and grab the code.

Step 4

Story of Baby Titna

Hello Everyone!!!..My sincere apologies on the delay of updating the blog. Apparently,something has gone wrong with the template!!*Owh no!!*Well, took me 2 days to get it back to the current state..but there still are some flaws with the layout, my blog entries tend to repeat them self. I'm working on getting it back as well as looking for an identity for my blog to match my style of writing, this is where it has brought me thus far.

I have been extra buzy with the year end camps for the kids in St.Anne's Church in Klang and the St.Francis of Assisi in Cheras. I have been doing this every year since I was 7. I am in charge of Music and Movement, Praise and Worship/Action Song -Dancing.You could watch a video of me and my team here.

I also do help out with the underprivileged kids whenever I can or when my team needs a helping hand. Here's a story of a little girl who touched my heart. Everyone,meet TITNA. Titna is a very bubbly 11 month old baby girl. Her parents abandoned her in the dumpster when she was born because of her deformity. If you look at the picture below, you would see that Titna's hands and legs have not been completely formed. We were told by the guardian that her hands and legs have been like this since birth. She also has a Cleft Palate, operation has been done, and now she can breath and sound properly*she cannot speak yet*.

Titna lives in Persatuan Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Klang Selangor (Handicapped and Disabled Children's Association of Klang Selangor). She lives in a home with 77 other children with various disabilities ranging from Dyslexia,Down Syndrome,Mental Retardation, Child Phychosis,Conginetal,Spactic and a whole lot more. From our conversation with several of the guardians, they say that some of the children who live there, have parents who come and visit them occasionally,whilst some have parents who voluntarily leave their kids at the home because they can't care for them.

I was a little reluctant to take pictures as I did not want them to be the subject of pity. A statement I must make though, is that they are very very innovative. During our visit there, I just stood in awe as I watched them work together to mount a TV on the wall outside,in the dining area. It was really mind boggling because one of them were deaf and dumb, the other was down syndrome, it was kind of hard to tell what the few other helpers were suffering from but they just mounted the TV on the wall in about 20 minutes while I stood there watching them dumbfounded.

Upon our arrival, we were each given a booklet.

The booklet contained details of each child defining their name,gender, disability and date of birth. The reason as to why they have stated the date of birth of the kids, is so that donors may send the presents to the kids on their birthday.

Together with the booklet we were also handed this piece of paper that gives you a brief summary of the monthly consumption of the whole household. Gee, that's some list man!! They need all the help they can get!! At the rate they are going, their stock is running low really fast!
